Senior Usability Consultant - Canberra

Stamford Interactive is a provider of usability and user-centred design consulting services to Government and the private sector. We are the largest and fastest growing user experience consultancy in Australasia. We are looking for a skilled Senior Usability Consultant to work in our Canberra office.
We require an enthusiastic, passionate, self-starter who has a proven history of undertaking a lead role in major project work and with experience in many facets of usability including:
• Analysis techniques including focus groups, expert (heuristic) evaluations, benchmarking, requirements definition
• Workflow and process improvement
• Information architecture, including card sorting
• Strong interaction design experience
• Design techniques including collaborative design and usability testing
• Good presentation skills
Key to this role will be the ability to hit the ground running on new projects and work independently. You need to be a good communicator with a flair for dealing with the customer. Good report writing skills are essential as is your capacity to meet deadlines.
The successful applicant MUST:
- Have a minimum 5 years experience in usability or related discipline
- Have a permit to work in Australia
Remuneration will be in-line with experience.
